A new force in the immediate melodic hardcore scene, Michigan based Desires channel sounds and energy reminiscent of Being As An Ocean, La Dispute, and Hotel Books- combining spoken word segments and tumultuous, waggish instrumentation. Desires creates driving and emotionally affective music, and their 2018 album A Collection of Thoughts is a milestone for introspective hardcore.
